Vienna Through My Eyes

The city of Vienna, a never stopping blooming flower of classical music that’s echoing in every corner of every street. My second favorite city in the world that's slowly starting to grow on me more and more, even when I visit it on rainy, cloudy and chilly October days.

It was my country's national holiday and was a time when all the travel agencies were offering bus and plane trips to Vienna, Budapest, Paris, Prague, Florence, Belgrade... etc. Me and a friend decided on going to Budapest, but somehow ended up on a bus trip to Vienna. We travelled for about 24h and finally reached our destination. In spite of being very tired and cooped up in a chair for the past day, our desire to see the city's sights asap hadn't faded away at all. We got right on that and visited Hundertwasernhaus. It was amazing being there and admiring all those colours that just begged to be photographed by the many tourists that pass by every day.

We got the chance to visit the gorgeous Belvedere Palace, now a home to many old and valuable paintings to admire. I couldn’t take pictures inside the palace, but that did not stop me from documenting some breathtaking views I saw from the palace windows.

The last day was gloriously sunny, and spent just walking around and admiring the magnificent gardens of Schönbrunn Palace and having some Wien coffee and a piece of Sisi cake at the Gloriette Café. It was an unforgettable trip, with many many photos taken that I'm sharing below, so take a look...
