My Fragrance Collection

20 September 2016

So I was just sitting in front of my computer thinking about what my next post should be about, and it hit me... I'll show you guys my fragrance collection! It is most definitely something that I haven't shared before with you, so I'm about to now. Below you'll see pictures of all my perfumes taken by myself, and lots of info concerning each of them, so lets take a look shall we?

Lady Million by Paco Rabanne
One Million is one of the most popular fragrances launched in the last several years. After the edition for men, women's version inspired by gold and wealth was expected. Two years after the men's edition, the fragrant lady finally appears - Lady Million! We can just assume if this lady wants to earn millions or look like a million dollar. It is perfectly clear that the woman represented by this edition radiates, dominates and possesses fiery character with incredible sensuality.

Lady Million is fresh, floral and woody, like a nectar of voluptuous flowers, trailing delicately but still very present. Powerfully seductive, the sparkle of bitter orange with a touch of raspberry reveals the first breath. A burst of neroli follows, smooth and bright. But then the lethal weapon of heady orange blossom slips out of its sheath. Its narcotic sweetness bewitches and grabs all attention. Then, joining with Arabian jasmine underlined by gardenia, the blend soars into something more carnal, yet ever subtle. Now the obsessive pulsing of patchouli enters the fray, pacifying the honey with an addictive and terribly tempting sweetness.

 Brilliant Wish by Chopard
Famous jewelers of the house of Chopard were inspired by diamond and presented the first Wish edition in 1999. It was poured in a beautiful diamond-shaped flacon and became a classic among woody-gourmand notes for women who like and appreciate Chopard's style.

Brilliant Wish, is even more precious, since its composition reinterprets value of brilliant and its shine, while fulfilling another wish to women who enjoy magic of the fragrance, sparkling composition and aura which highlights femininity and elegance. The new composition offers a blend of star jasmine and fruity notes surrounded with pink pepper. Velvety notes are softened with sensual accords of amber and wood.

S by Shakira
S by Shakira is created of high quality glass and its shape reminds us of belly dancer's body. Her curves watched from various corners suggest a feeling of movements and fluidity. Glass of the flacon is transparent and its liquid is golden yellow.

S is as melodic and harmonious as Shakira's music. The new accords include essences of amber, benzoin, vanilla, fresh wood and Sambac jasmine.

Wonderstruck by Taylor Swift

Wonderstruck is named after the lyrics from the song "Enchanted": "I'm wonderstruck, blushing all the way home," which tell about the feeling and the impression you get when you first meet someone you like. Taylor hopes that her fragrance will be an essential part of many impressions and first meetings.

The fragrance composition is described as a charming gourmand – floral with sparkling fruity tones on a wooden background. The top notes are raspberry, dewberry, green tea, freesia and apple blossom. The heart features sweet vanilla along with sundrenched honeysuckle and white hibiscus. Notes of golden amber, musk, sandalwood and peach are in the base.

Black Star by Avril Lavigne
Black Star is the first fragrance by popular Canadian rock star Avril Lavigne. It was created under license of Procter & Gamble Prestige, and is composed of pink hibiscus, black plum and dark chocolate. This fragrance is available as 15, 30, 50 and 100ml edp. The liquid inside the bottle used to have pink colour when I bought it back in 2009, but now years later the colour just turned to gold. The lasting of the perfume didn't change one bit even after all this time, so if you can still find it, I highly recommend you buy one.

Forbidden Rose by Avril Lavigne
Its beautiful violet flacon is decorated with a black rose as a stopper and it announces realm of fantasy where everything is possible. Mysterious and magical Forbidden Rose introduces a feminine composition of floral, woody and foamy fruity essences.

Forbidden Rose offers red apple as forbidden fruit in top notes, which intoxicates and seduces together with white peach and Bourbon vanilla. A heart adds innocent and clean aromas of lotus, heliotrope and fresh green apple. Base notes round up the composition with soft, warm vanilla and chocolate, accompanied by creamy sandalwood nuances which add depth and persuasive story about forbidden rose.

Live by Jennifer Lopez
This fragrance is full of life, happiness and rhythm. It translates the JLo's parole 'living to be dancing' into a fragrance. The top notes bring the harmony of Sicilian lemon, bergamot and pineapple. The heart, full of rhythm, unites the notes of red currant, peony and violet. The sweet and warm base reveals sandalwood, Tonka bean and caramel.

Glow after Dark by Jennifer Lopez

Glow After Dark, is lavish and charismatic while the original Glow is gentle and innocent. The scent opens with vibrant fruity notes and ozone; lychee, melon, passion fruit, mandarine and white cherry. At its heart, seductive florals, including creamy jasmine, rose, pink peony, and orange flower. The fragrance ends with patchouli musk, and moss. By me it is the most beautiful fragrance that I've ever bought myself, its perfect for a night out, spray it, and it will last you all through the night.

Selena Gomez Eau de Parfum by Selena Gomez
Selena Gomez, actress and teen icon, announced the launch of her first perfume in 2011, inviting all her fans to help her choose the ingredients. Her fans could vote for three basic ingredients of the perfume on the site, ending up in the victory of raspberry at the top, freesia in the middle and vanilla in the base. In addition to raspberry, the composition’s opening includes a handful of fruits such as sweet orange, pineapple and peach. The heart consists of purple freesia, Cosmone musk and dewberry, while vanilla in the base is joined by sweet flavors of rich amber, chocolate and coconut.
The tall and narrow bottle reminds me of an evening gown and is adorned with an interesting bouquet of purple and golden lips. The fragrance is available as 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum. It has a longlasting smell, and it is so addictive to the boys when they smell it on you, so don't wait, get yourself one bottle!

And last, but not least...

Fragile by Jean Paul Gaultier
Fragile is the warning word usually printed on the outer package with delicate and breakable items, and the box of Fragile was made in that fashion. It is fun and intriguing. Intoxicating smell of tuberose in the top notes is followed by raspberry leaves and sweet orange blossoms; pink pepper and other spices compose the heart, while the warm woody notes and light musk create a dazzling lingering trace. It was launched in 1999. For those of you who prefer a stronger smelling fragrance this is definitely your type, and it's worth every penny.

So I guess that was all, hope you liked my humble collection and will take me up on my advice and buy at least one, because believe me they smell incredible!
